Hungary has for years been known as the Top Country for Red Deer Stag hunting.
The very selective hunting policy i Hunggary secures this strong population of Red Deer and huge amount of Capital Trophees.
The best timing for hunting the Red Deer Stag is during the Rut.
The Rut normaly stays 8-12 days on its highest level starting at the beginning of September in the Southern part of Hungary and goes until the end of September in the Northern part.
Depending of the part of Hungary, you will be able to take Trophees from 6 - 12 kg in the Southern and Western part of Hungary and from 4 - 8 kg in the Northern part.
When the Rut is on its top you're often able to sneak into proper shooting distance of the Stag listening to his strong shouting or from High Stand awaiting the Rutting Deer to explore him self.
It is a very exciting hunting and can catch up the adranalin by even the most experienced Hunter.
